It also provides a memorable opportunity to children and adults from different countries and backgrounds to find common space to engage and connect with each other. It is designed to give you a full understanding of music in Africa and its role in creating awareness on many important issues such as global poverty, peace, justice and human rights, girl education, leadership, environmental protection, empowerment and self-esteem building, etc.
Students will have the opportunities to experience the musical instruments, rhythms and melodies of Africa, and also have hands on experience to try several traditional instruments of Dance of Hope Children.
Local students will learn to sing along with the children in Dance of hope and may create original compositions in a workshop setting. They learn to improvise and may use dance movements to accompany the songs.
Students will get a full understanding of the cultural features and importance of African music through multimedia presentation and interactions with the Dance of hope team. They will also learn deeper about the lifestyle, Education, community and wildlife in Africa.
